DiasphoraSounds, the series of concerts around non-occidental traditional music, focuses on hidden musicians ever since Beursschouwburg and MET-X started with the project in 2008. Brussels is a melting pot of ethnic groups coming from all corners of the world, that very often don't come out with their traditional music. The Diasphora project gives these ensembles the opportunity to get a broader attention for their talents and to be appreciated for it beyond their common social environment.
