Over a two-year period, Zinneke builds intense collaborations between residents, organisations, collectives, schools and artists from different neighbourhoods of Brussels and beyond. It’s a social and artistic project where people develop their creativity and explore imagination with others.

In October 2006 Dommelhof organised the first edition of the event Samhain in close collaboration with Musica and MET-X. The idea of this event is to offer an alternative for over-commercialised Halloween by returning to the origin of the Celtic ritual with music, theatre and fire. Luc Mishalle was curator for that and the following editions of this event. More info on www.musica.be

In spring 2009 the city of Mechelen held its first edition of the cultural event Stadsvisioenen (visions of the city). MET-X co-organised several projects that were realised for this major event, such as vocal projects, a massive percussion band and collaborations between several brassbands. MET-X also curated the opening- and closing act of the festival. More info on www.stadsvisoenen.be

'Fresco' took place on 19 June 2011 in coproduction with Ictus, 'Hallen van Schaarbeek' and MET-X. More than 150 musicians from 5 brassbands followed different itineraries for the 6th edition of 'Supervoisins'. The bands played the composition of Luca Francesconi 'Fresco', and also other repertoire. The result was a great party with plenty of surprises! More info via www.halles.be

Like every year, the KlaraFestival starts with free concerts in different public spaces of Brussels. From now on, the opening event is organized in coproduction with MET-X.For the 2011 edition there were performances of two percussion groups based in Brussels (Batuqueria & Bagadski) as well as a premiere of Fabrizio Cassol, player by the composer himself and a series of guest artists, such as Stéphane Galland, Babs Jobo, Luc Mishalle and others. On 9 September 2012, Anderlecht and its tower of St Guidon will turn into a big musical party. This event - a collaboration between Champ D'action, MET-X and the city council of Anderlecht - gathers a series of socio-cultural and artistic organisations as well as local, national and international music groups. This way, the multicultural population of this part of the city will experience a unique artistic event!

On the 17th, 18th and 19th September 2010, a focus was set on the canal zone of Brussels by the new 'Festival Kanal', organised by the Brussels' network 'Platform Kanal'. During the entire weekend the whole area was marked by artistic projects. MET-X was a partner of this festival and a number of the MET-X projects performed on different locations. During the entire summer (between 21/06/2013 and 06/09/2013) the Abbey of Forest becomes THE place to be every Friday afternoon and evening during the project ‘Plaiziers du Park’. You are welcome to step by, chill a bit, enjoy the sun and… play an instrument with other musicians and residents of Forest! There is an interesting program with percussion, vocals, melodic instruments (brass + others) and also construction of instruments.
