For that occasion and on the 26th of April, the Beursschouwburg presents the previously unreleased sound of 3Bas, a bizarre trio that of three Brussels bass saxophonists. The mega-reeds are fluttered by François Lourtie, Marti Mélia and Luc Mishalle. For this occasion they will be assisted by Badr Derras, Abdessamad Semlali and co, among others, and in between also a good helping of unadulterated Moroccan Sha’abi. And of course, there will also be a few surprising interventions: we don’t have diaspora every day…
