MET-X starts to sing: VoiXlà!

A unique vocal project where words, colours and sounds are mixed into a world language with a rhythmic syntax. Voices and melodies stimulate the imagination and reflect a universal and bordercrossing energy. An idiosyncratic repertoire arises with adept and driven singers who dare to colour outside the lines, both vocal or together with other singers, as an original patchwork.

Compound rythms, casual melodies and haunting grooves. Onomatopoeia and sounds who refer to ‘here’ and ‘elswhere’. Dreaming is allowed, experimenting is a must…

The artistic coordination rests on Olivier Thomas: singer, musician and founder of the collective ‘Tomassenko production’ (www.tomassenkoproduction.be). Musicians Catherine Delaunay and laurent Rousseau (Olivier Thomas Trio) make sure there is an extra artistic guidance during the concerts.

The rehearsals will start in February 2010, 3 times a month on Monday from 19.00u till 21.30u, at Bottelarij Bellevue (Delaunoystraat 58, 1080 Brussels). Concerts will be planned during autumn 2010.
