ReMork (the craziest MET-X brassband) will participate once again in the Zinneke Parade in Brussels on 19 May 2012. We are looking for enthusiastic musicians to strengthen our brass section for this unique event ! Everybody is welcome !

ReMork will collaborate with 2 other Brassbands: T’Akkoord (Antwerp) and ‘La Fanfare du Roi Boudin’ (Limerlé). The bands will get to know eachothers’ repertoire and working methods. New compositions will be made that will be interpreted with the use of cues and dancers will guide the musicians through the whole parade!

Remork (the new brassband of MET-X) and Forges de Krakeb (group of young gnaoua musicians) will heat up the summer ! They have a series of concerts planned on differents events going from parades and festivals to the Fresco project, a coproduction between Ictus, ‘les Halles de Schaarbeek’ and MET-X. Musicians from 5 different brassbands will be directed by Francois Deppe while they play ‘Fresco’ (de Luca Francesconi). They will also play a composition of Michel Massot as well as their own repertoire.

“ReMork” will be the new MET-X brassorchestra that will play with several of our percussion projects on local neighbourhood events as well as huge city festivals!
A parade with the Moroccan trance of the Gnawas de Bruxelles, an afterparty with the trip-hop percussion grooves of Bagadski & Forges de Krakeb, or an XL version of Brassafrik, anything is possible!!

The result will be wicked and exciting!
