On Saturday 13 May, the 2nd edition of Urbanistics will take place at Campus Nieuwland. During this free festival, young and old can dive into a wide range of urban disciplines from noon till nighttime. On the programme: workshops, breakdance & MC battles, performances by the Fanfakids, a street market and much more!

 

 

After a first edition in 2022 in 2022, Urban Center Brussel gathers people of all ages once more around the universal values of hip-hop: creativity, self-expression and metropolitan diversity. Together with MetX, they join forces with a number of partners from Flanders and Brussels for a richly filled programme.

 

There will be a battle zone with breakdance & MC battles, which form the Brussels preselections of both regional (Legacy League – Breaking Flanders) and national competitions (MC Battles – End of the Weak). In the street zone you will find demos of Turntablism in collaboration with Bruxelles Cuts, graffiti by CNN and an urban market. And of course the Fanfakids will also demonstrate their percussion and breakdance skills throughout the festival site.
