2020 is going to be massive for Fanfakids. With performances and workshops In Belgium and abroad, celebrating their 20th anniversary with Zinneke Parade, a makeover of their outfit by a fashion designer and new international exchanges!

No time to waste this spring: together with other groups, they are creating the Zinnode Loops for the Zinneke Parade. On 20 march Fanfakids will participate in CONNECT 2020, an initiative from Amateo, the European Network for Active Participation in Cultural Activities. This year the event takes place in Brussels, in collaboration with Lasso and MetX.

In May they are going to the Czech Republic for a sequel to their first residency with a youth theatre group in Destelheide last year. Under the name Meeting Unknown, they are working on a drum theater performance. These exchanges take place in the framework of the Arts Take Part Pioneer Projects by Amateo.

In August off they go to Hungary, with performances at the Sziget Festival in Budapest and an percussion camp in Balatonboglar. And who knows, there might also be a sequel to their first exchange with the Brassbandschool Rotterdam, also an Amateo Pioneer Project, with whom they played on Reggae Geel last summer.
