Artists
Fanny Brouyaux is a dancer and choreographer from Brussels schooled at P.A.R.T.S. With her company Too Moved to Talk, she creates performances in collaboration with artists from the fields of dance, performance, physical theatre, set design and experimental music. At MetX, she forms an artistic coordination duo with Ilaria Orlandini for the multidisciplinary project Bazzaria.
As a dancer, she has worked with Taoufiq Izeddiou’s Moroccan company Anania-Danses and with a number of Belgian companies: Cie Abis/Julien Carlier (urban contemporary), La peau de l’autre/Marie Limet (physical theatre), Cie Nyash, Julie Bougard (young audience), Marco Torrice and Baptiste Conte (dance-performance).
She also participates in various creations as a choreographic advisor, external viewer and dramaturge, and occasionally gives workshops. She was also one of the programmers of the Caméléon festival, a multidisciplinary festival about multiple identity, organised in Charleroi in 2017 in tribute to Sadia Sheikh.
