There it is! Marockin’ Brass has released a new album. For ‘Beats and Pieces’ the gnawa-jazz band of Luc Mishalle worked together with Tunisian producer Sofyann Ben Youssef and Roel Poriau (Think of One/Antwerp Gipsy Ska Orkestra). The release took place during a free concert at MetX and at Podium Mozaïek in Amsterdam.

You may have heard about it: Luc Mishalle retired in September 2018. But the founder of MetX does not leave without a gift: a brand new album by Marockin’ Brass, full of creative exchanges with gnawa musicians, unprecented rhytmic beats and pieces and trance influences from Benin.
